Updating Paradox tables to level 7

The differences between Paradox 5 and 7 are:

Paradox 7 tables accepts longer path names

Paradox 7 tables accepts unique secondary indexes

Paradox 7 tables accepts descending secondary indexes

When do I need to do that?

Especially the 70 character max path length for tables up to level 5 may raise the need for propagating to level 7 tables.

See Paradox max. path length

How do I propagate tables to level 7?

PdxEditor doesn't have a specific function for this, but setting the default Paradox level to 7 (via BDE Admin) and processing a Restructure extended (without any selected changes), will propagate the table to level 7 (however sacrificing possible Validity Check attributes).
