Borland Database Desktop 7 (DBD)

This is the 1996 scaled down version of the Borland Paradox 7 for Windows, and distributed license free with many third party BDE based applications.

Table formats:Paradox 3.5, 4, 5, 7.
dBASE III+, IV, 5.
FoxPro 2.5.

The DBD (or DBD7) manages basic database tasks but does not have the organizing capabilities of a full blown relational database management system (RDBMS) like the Paradox 7 for Windows.
Database Desktop 7 cannot handle the dBASE 7 table format.

DBD has not been updated since 1996 but has been standard included in the Embarcadero software development packages (Delphi and C++ Builder) as late as with Embarcadero RAD Studio XE6 development packages up until 2014. The DBD however is provided for free from many independent redistributing sources on the Internet.
The last authorized compilation (DBD32.exe) is version 7.0.5.37 from 1996. You may find this file bearing later file dates as e.g. installed with later versions of Delphi (or as a result of later file handling), but they are all the same version 7.0.5.37.

With some easily managed fixes of the BDE settings the DBD has been still compliant with Windows 7, 32- and 64-bit.
DBD does not run on Windows 10 and later systems.
