Table formats:Paradox 3.5, Paradox 4, Paradox 5, Paradox 7.
dBASE tables III+, IV and 5.

Paradox, originally developed by Ansa Software, was later purchased by Borland launching the first version for Windows in 1993 and later version 5 and 7 for Windows.
The last version from Borland was Borland Paradox 7 for Windows from 1995 also launching the Paradox 7 table format.

The Paradox database package was sold to Corel Corporation in 1997.

The Borland Paradox 7 designed for Windows 95 and NT is not compliant with the recent versions of Windows, though the data format lives on in contemporary applications. A scaled down version is the Borland Database Desktop 7 distributed license free with the Borland Database Engine (BDE).
