Tables > Table open

Open data tables

This is straightforward from the [Table] \ [Open Table] menu.

From the Open dialog you can choose between either Paradox or dBASE/FoxPro tables.

If you move outside the initial directory displayed in the Open dialog, this will be the current directory for subsequent SQL queries and for the next Open Table event until changing the current directory by a table selection from another directory or from changing the database selection via the Database menu.

Command line and drag-and-drop

Tables may also be launched opening the application adding the file path to a command line or drag-and-dropping a table file on a short cut icon of PdxEditor.
Drag-and-drop is not functional if the application is already up running.
