With any database table format you may experience accidental table corruption caused by e.g. application crashes or unexpected general power cuts.
In case of Paradox Table corruption this simple Pdxrbld.exe repair utility from Czech RK Solution might just be the right tool to save your Paradox version 4 - 5 - 7 files:

The Pdxrbld.exe builds on the TUTIL32.DLL repair library issued by Borland along the Borland Database Engine but has a few additional features solving some corruptions errors not solved by the original TUTIL32.DLL and reported being more stable than the original Pdoxrep.exe from Borland.
You may need adding the following text lines to the Pdxrbld.ini automatically created by the Pdxrbld.exe:

5.0.1=5.0.0
5.1.0=5.0.0
5.2.0=5.0.0
Do remember adding line break after last non-empty line in the ini-file.
