Description: Largely a Borland Database Desktop replacement, this Paradox and dBASE/xBase SQL script enabled (SQL command batches) editor lets you read, edit and extract combined and calculated data from any Paradox and dBASE/xBase tables as well as rename and resize fields and selecting table language drivers. Other table modifications within the scope of associated SQL query language (BDE Local SQL).
To enable this application to store data locally (tables and SQL statements) you should install/place the exe off the C:\Program Files directory.
HTML Help on Local SQL is recommended to be installed along the PdxEditor.exe or in a .\LocalSQL subdirectory relative to the program's location.
Basic Excel & CSV export as well as universal CSV import.
CURRENT_DATE, CURRENT_TIMESTAMP and NOW() placeholder variables in SQL statements are by runtime autoconverted to date and timestamp constants accepted by the BDE database engine.
Besides using the BDE /* standard delimited comments */ the PdxEditor optionally also accepts SQL '-- single line comments'.

Porting old BLOB field Memo/FmtMemo data to other database systems
This is where PdxEditor really shines in a 'post Paradox era' with it's delimited text export into e.g. CSV-files, which as a general exchangeable data format is easily imported into most other database systems. To re-establish Memo line breaks after import - just convert all '<br>' occurrences into line breaks.
