Design view in other applications (dBASE tables)

Comparatively the design view may differ somewhat in among applications for the same data table.
As you may notice the size indicated differs for the BLOB fields (here: Memo and TypedBinary fields) but is of no practical importance as it will default to the size necessary irrespective of the size setting by the user, as well as varying for the non-sizeable numeric fields (Long and Double for dBASE 7).

The DBD7 Number actually representing the dBASE type Numeric.
Float and Numeric are technically identical and may both specify either float or integer numbers.
