Table formats: dBASE III+ (III Plus), dBASE IV, dBASE 5, dBASE 7.
The dBASE IV was originally launched by Ashton-Tate but later purchased by Borland issuing the dBASE IV 1.1.
Successive versions of dBASE were the version V, version 5 for Windows, Visual dBASE 5.5 and from 1997 Visual dBASE 7.
The last version from Borland was the Visual dBASE 7.5 from February 2000.
