Borland Local SQL WebHelp recompilation

This is an HTML WebHelp recompilation of the "Local SQL" WinHelp manual (LocalSQL.hlp), Local SQL* being a subset of the SQL-92 database query language, originally issued by Borland® with the Borland Database Engine (BDE) and most recently issued copyright © 2000 by Inprise Corporation.
The source file (LocalSQL.hlp) of this recompilation is of January 17, 2000.

LocalSQLWebHelpTOCsAll original text has been transferred unaltered = TOC-heading "Local SQL", with addition of a few SQL tips in the "Notes on Local SQL" TOC heading.
The original WinHelp "See also" A-Links have been converted into expandable HTML "See also" links to comply with the WebHelp standard HTML format.

This recompilation has been done on a non-profit basis and is independent and of no responsibility of the issuers of the original manual as well as the current owner (Embarcadero) of the BDE code.

The reason for this recompilation is the lack of support for the WinHelp format on Windows 10.
Further, due to the still strong dBase and Paradox user base, this manual seems needed not restricted by newer versions of Windows. Also, the BDE (v.5.2.0.2 of May 11, 2001) - though officially deprecated - is still running even with 64-bit Windows 7, 8 and 10 with small adaptations concerning location of the configuration settings (usually IDAPI32.CFG) and the Paradox default NetFile directory (NET DIR), both avoiding the C:\Program Files directory and the C:-drive root directory.

Please note that this most recent Local SQL WinHelp source file (of January 17, 2000) may not cover possible improvements in the latest BDE update 5.2.0.2 (of May 11, 2001).

The WebHelp format

The WebHelp compilation is done using the Help & Manual help authoring tool from EC Software GmbH, www.helpandmanual.com.

* Local SQL as a general term sometimes called "client-based SQL".
