Limitations of Text Import feature

The Delimited text import feature does NOT include importing binary data except Memo fields stored as clear text source (including RTF-formatted text).

Attempting to import binary field data will invoke import error message except for Memo and FormattedMemo data fields saved as clear text.

When importing from a delimited text file including specified binary fields, the recognized field specifications will be created during import but skipping the possible binary data.

Binary data may however be imported and exported on the field level by using the data grid interactive popup dialog - please refer Binary import/export.
