Right-click and choose Open Configuration or Object|Open Configuration to select a BDE configuration (.CFG) file to view or edit. The Open dialog box (Open Configuration) appears.

To select a .CFG file, use the Look In drop-down list box and Up One Level button beside it to navigate through your system. When you locate the desired file, choose Open to open it.

The in-memory configuration settings are merged from the Registry and the configuration file.  If there are any duplicate entries found in both the Registry and the configuration file, the configuration file has precedence.
