The sample lines in the top panel are the crude text lines from the delimited text file source.
The number of lines displayed may be altered via the INI-file settings.
With the Profiles buttons Load (or save modified) schema file specifying the data type mapping.
See Importing Delimited Text and Schema Files.
As a default, delimited text imports use the Transaction Method yielding the fastest import processing. Using this method, in case of any error, every process is automtically rolled back due to error detection routines.
You may however choose deselecting this method transaction, but not without a significant speed penalty.
