As a default the Data Grid is not editable, unless you click the navigator's arrow up edit button for the specific row.
As an altenative, you may select the general Auto Edit state from the Options menu enabling editing of any row with any editing key press.
The current state of the Auto Edit feature is displayed in the status bar and is saved from session to session of the application.
